Mission

The mission of the Foundation is to

  • Fund charity work for children in need of medical care or economic support.
  • Fund organisations that help children in need.

The Foundation aims at an equal distribution of donations to projects in Denmark and to projects abroad that are administered by a Danish organisation.

Projects to be considered for support must meet the following requirements:

  • The aims of the project must comply with the mission of the Foundation and relate to specific and convincing needs.
  • The project must be administered by a Danish organisation.
  • With international projects, priority is given to projects that are undertaken in cooperation with a local partner in order to secure local embedment and sustainability.
  • The project must be self contained and with a clear presentation of the aims of the project, activities and expected results so that the latter can be evaluated at the end of the project.
  • The means from the Foundation must support core activities in connection with the project, and may only cover minimal administrative costs in the project organisation.
  • In the case where the Foundation is co-financing a major project, it must be clarified what are the exact uses of the funding, e.g. as used in a separate component of the overall project.
  • The project organisation must have in place satisfactory procedures and mechanisms for monitoring, evaluation and financial accounting.
  • The project organisation must ensure the visibility of the project and the Foundation in newsletters and other means of information and communication.
